The Sangria
Build the Sangria
In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, elderflower liqueur, orange juice, lemon juice, and honey if using. Stir well.
Add the Fruit
Add the peach slices, orange slices, lemon slices, strawberries, grapes, and fresh mint. Gently stir again.
Chill
Refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours to allow the fruit to infuse the sangria with flavour. Overnight works beautifully as well.
Serve
Fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria over top, making sure each glass gets some fruit. Top with sparkling water or prosecco just before serving for extra brightness and bubbles.
Melissa's Notes
Sauvignon Blanc gives this sangria a crisp citrus-forward flavour, while Riesling creates a slightly softer, fruitier version. Fresh mint makes the entire pitcher feel extra refreshing. Prosecco adds a beautiful brunch-style sparkle for entertaining. Frozen grapes work wonderfully instead of ice cubes and help keep the sangria chilled without watering it down. This sangria is best served very cold on warm summer evenings.
