This is the smoothie that got my kids hooked on green smoothies years ago. When they were little, I used to call it Monster Juice as a fun way to get more fruits and vegetables into their diet. It quickly became a favorite for both my son and me, and it's still one of the smoothies we make regularly today. Feel free to make it your own by adding a carrot, swapping in your favorite fruit, or adjusting the ginger to suit your taste. It's a forgiving recipe that's easy to customize with whatever you have on hand.

Melissa's Notes
Frozen pineapple makes this smoothie naturally sweet and extra refreshing. Start with less ginger if you prefer a milder flavour. Add a squeeze of lemon or lime for extra brightness. For a creamier smoothie, add a splash of coconut milk or Greek yogurt. Kids love this smoothie because the pineapple and banana completely mellow out the spinach flavour.
