To Make Ranch Dressing

Other Ways to Use It

Toss 2 teaspoons with 1 pound of potatoes or vegetables.
Stir into mashed potatoes.
Sprinkle lightly over popcorn.
Mix into burgers or meatballs.

Melissa's Notes
This version doesn't require powdered buttermilk. The sour cream, yogurt, lemon juice or buttermilk added later provides the familiar ranch tang.
For a salt-free blend, omit the salt and season the finished dish to taste.
If you prefer a finer texture, pulse the mixture briefly in a mini food processor.
The prepared dip or dressing can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to four days.
